1st Match
Fry Club started well with excellent running up both wings from Jack Dancey and Perry May. Bristol United responded with some good running from central midfield, only to be met by the sturdy defence of Fry’s John Shortland and Joel Rowbottom. Fry Club continued to press with accurate passing from Dancey and May - resulting in a blistering run from May down the right and a perfectly timed pass finding Benn Clapp who coolly slotted home. United responded immediately with the central midfield running at the home side only to be undone by Fry Club centre half Charlie Goodwin.
1-0
A quick start to the second half by Fry’s with a
deflected shot from Perry May finding the net. United rallied, putting Fry’s
under pressure giving keeper Jake Wooley plenty to do
in the home sides goal. A substitution from Fry Club
saw Benn Watt have plenty of possession in front of the United
goal resulting in a curling shot beating the United keeper. Fry’s continued to
press the United defence with Jack Dancey
twice coming close after good running down the left flanks.

2nd Match
A storming start by the home side saw Ben Harper win
the ball in midfield running on to slot the first goal home for Fry’s. The United
keeper was kept busy with more shots from Harper and Kyle Morris. United tried
in vain to penetrate Fry’s defence only for Jordan Finch to clear the ball up
the field to Harper who netted for his 2nd. United
replied with a good run at goal by Tanzil Gibbons
with his final ball being saved by keeper Jovi
Belcher. A good kick from goal saw
Mitchell Thornton run down the left wing and cut in to neatly slot the ball
home for Fry’s. The away side then put the ball back in the Fry Club goalmouth
only for a Ben Harper clearance to end up in the back of the net for an own
goal, 3-1.
The second half saw Fry Club attack the United goal
with Nathan
Munford getting the 4th for the home side. United rallied
again with Tanzil Gibbons doing all the running,
forcing substitute keeper Jovi Belcher to pull off a
comfortable save. Fry’s replied
with a good run on the left from Mitchell Thornton setting up Ben Harper for
the 5th and his hat trick. Fry’s did not let up and wasted no time
pushing forward with Kyle Morris taking on two or three United players to slot
home for the 6th. With
